    Hello,

I use NextGen Free, since a few days.
I noticed the mobile thumbnails in the lightbox are pretty tiny.
How to enlarge the lightboxes? (only for one gallery) is that possible?

    Thank you so much

    Hi @alexander656,

Could you please let us know what lightbox effect you use? You can find that within "NextGen Gallery -> Other Options -> Lightbox Effects -> What lightbox would you like to use?"

    Thanks,

    Yes sure.
I just use the standard simple light box, it was automatically set this one.

I don’t really care which lightbox but they should be bigger on mobile.

You can re-size your images from "NextGen Gallery -> Manage Gallery" up to the needed size ( but that cannot exceed toe originals’ resolution ):

I understand, but I have one question ( I don’t fully understand :)) I only want to change the lightbox. The Thumbnails on the overview (desktop) page doesn’t necesariily need to be larger.
Also the lightbox on desktop is fine!
Just on mobile the lightbox is so small. Too small. I only want to change the lightbox size on mobile.
    How to?
It seems this setting is something different?
    Sorry for the confusion.

    @alexander656,

Can you please provide us with an example of gallery page for us to better understand it?
Lightboxes use a lot of dynamic code for the images’ sizing which means that they up-scale or down-scale the images by height or by width for them to fit into the small mobile screen’s container.

To exemplify it – a landscape image with a small height will look tiny on mobile screen if viewing it in the lightbox while holding the mobile vertically. This would be expected and there’s not much we can suggest here. You can turn your mobile device horizontally to see the landscape image larger.

P.S. NextGen doesn’t come with mobile settings for the lightbox.
