I’m customising my homepage by just selecting the categories to display.

The size of the images are inconsistent throughout. Some taller, some shorter, some of full size high resolution, throwing out the dimensions of each post image.

    What should I do?

What are the sizes of the featured images? Do I need to manually resize all of them and upload them?

563×353 Px is the actual size of featured image . Ya you have to do manually or you can check the plugin may be there is which may help you.

    Thanks

I have the same issue. Please see this screenshot the featured image is showing as massive making the 4 humbnails all misaligned.

From what I gather, when reuploaded (or newly uploaded) homepage images’ resize in width and get cropped in height but not to what is specified.
In other words, there is something seriously wrong with the resizing function

@tideswellman …I have this very same issue, have you found a solution?

This is one way to make it, but… maybe not the best.
