Size of featured image ?

    hello,

    how can i control the size of the featured image?
    i only manage to get them in the size of a 150×150 thumbnail

    Hi Sebastian

    To amend the size of the featured image, amend the media settings in WordPress admin system.

    These are the recommended settings:

    Thumbnail 1200 x 300
    [uncheck crop thumbnail]
    Medium 2400 x 600
    Large 4800 x 1200

    In WordPress admin go to settings, then media, and you can make the above changes.

    I changed the settings in the media, but I’m still getting the small thumbnails.

    Media settings apply to newly uploaded images only. Do the thumbnails remain small once you have uploaded a new image after updating the the media sizes?

    If so, there are plugins such as ‘Regenerate Thumbnails’ which will go back and resize the thumbnails of images you have uploaded.

    If not, send me a link to your site and I will take a look.
