    Is it possible to purchase a subdomain from “wp.com”, ie, “site.wp.com”? I’m talking about the shortened version specifically ie) site.wp.com !== site.wordpress.com.

    The name I’m trying to purchase is already registered with site.wordpress.com, but site.wp.com takes me to wordpress.com, and I’d like to purchase a subdomain at site.wp.com specifically.

    As far as I am aware, the answer would be “No” but you’d need to contact the folks over at wordpress.com about it.

    Thanks a bunch, couldn’t really get any conclusive answer there so I’ll just assume the answer is no.
