I am using WPMU and am still learning.

Why when I create a site in the Super Admin panel, can I not access it (frontend or backend).

The main wpmu site is http://www.community1stop.com and I am trying to create one that focuses on example.community1stop.com but it keeps going to page not found when I try and access the newly created site.

Have you made sure that all the .htaccess rules are in place? Have you enabled subdomains for WPMU? Do check these, generally checking these small things can fix the problem.

Thanks so much.... It works now!!

I know this is a buddypress question but I wonder if Pranav (or others) can help.

I now have my subdomain up and running, thank you (with buddypress running as a plugin on the main site).

The problem I now have is that the subdomain looks like a seperate site (perfect) but when they click on activity or community, it reverts to the main site.

My plan is based around creating individual communities but with the option to venture to others, so how do I make buddypress local to the new site I have created but give them the ability to venture in to other communities?

    Does this make sence?

    Yours com1stop
