Hi Shane
Sorry to hear about this.
From what we can see, AMP is unregistering the WP_Widget_Text
widget before they register their own as a replacement.
Currently, we don’t believe there is any resolution possible from our end.

Ahh that is disappointing.
I have lightly looked through your code but I couldn’t see where you had de-registered WP_Widget_Text only where you have extended the classes with something like AMP_Widget_Media_Video
which in itself shouldn’t cause problems.
Is there anyway you could provide a workaround? Immobility on your part will force us and any other using your plugin and SiteOrigin together to find an alternative which we do not want to do.
Hi,
We really apologize for the inconvenience.
I’ve created a ticket in GitHub repository. We’ll resolve this immediately and add in the upcoming update. In meanwhile, for temporary please use v0.9.97.23 version. You can get the previous version here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/accelerated-mobile-pages/advanced/

Thank you very much. We are currently running already on v0.9.97.23 and all appears to be OK. I’ll wait for your next release before updating which I very much look forward to.
Hi @shanemarsh28,
We’ll release the v0.9.97.26 version as soon as possible and it will be resolved in this update.
