# Sitemaps Plugin

 * Anyone knows if the Google sitemaps plugin from [http://www.arnebrachhold.de](http://www.arnebrachhold.de),
   has a problem pinging Google ?
    It seems like other pings are not working neither
   since I installed the sitemaps plugin. Do I have to submit my sitemap by hand
   instead of pinging Google ?

 * You’ll need to submit/setup your google sitemap first, and verify you’re site.
 * Once you’ve done that the pings seem to work fine (for me anyway)

 * If you go to Options -> SiteMap in the Admin console and then turn on “Write 
   debug comments” you get a ‘ping success/fail’ message when saving a post.
