 * We have an xml validation error on one of the sitemaps created by Yoast. It’s
   caused by the ampersand delimeter of the url args for one of our images.
   Any
   advice?

 * Hello [@nomadicdev](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nomadicdev/),
 * Thanks for reaching out about your sitemap. Though the [post sitemap](https://nohma.com/post-sitemap.xml)
   is visually blank, the [stylesheet](https://nohma.com/main-sitemap.xsl) works
   and the source code is fine with content. This means there’s an issue applying
   the stylesheet.
 * You mentioned that it’s related to the ampersand delimeter. Since your setup
   used the Cloudinary plugin, all images in your media gallery are mapped to your
   Cloudinary image server, so we might not specifically be able to test this service
   and reproduce them in our default test environment.
 * We previously received a similar user-reported issue regarding a [bug](https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/18334#issuecomment-1594640664)
   related to ‘&’ encoding on the sitemap for those images served from a third-party
   image CDN. Our developer did some research and found the plugin devs are doing
   it for some purpose, but this basically prevents `esc_url()` to do anything to
   image URLs when they come from Imgix/Media Cloud.
 * Please reach out to Cloudinary devs and point to [this explanation](https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/18334#issuecomment-1594640664),
   as they may have additional information vital to providing a resolution.
