    Hello,

    Ive gone from Yoast to Rank Math – i just had alook, although theres a sitemap – its the old Yoast site_map. How can i make it so that Rank Math can re-generate this? I cant seem to make any information for this, thank you

    Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    It seems like a caching issue. Please clear your WordPress & server-side cache to fix that.

    Hi,

    ok thanks, i cleared the cache (WP Fasted Cache) and has cleared it, the original yoast sitemap now has a basic file:

    Error loading stylesheet: Parsing an XSLT stylesheet failed.

    But how can i now create the new sitemap? Rank Math thinks that theres a:

    Your sitemap index can be found here: https://www.mywebsite.com/sitemap_index.xml

    but theres nothing there? thank you

    Please get in touch with the hosting because if the Sitemap file of Yoast is still loading even after disabling the plugin.

    Hi,

    No, they will not help, as its a 3rd party plugin, the webhost will not be able to do anything there. Its solely from the Rank math plugin here.

    Surely there must be a way to solve this? What if i wipe the entire Rank Math and start from scratch? Any idea will be welcome, otherwise i guess i will have no option but to go back to Yoast again……Or should i try to wipe the Yoast somehow, then start from Rank math? thanks

    ahhh forget about this – i just ran the entire set up again, and now it works. thanks!
