sitemap-link directs back to homepage
-
Hi.
Way back I used a google XML Sitemap tool, which has been disabled and deleted for at least 6 months if not a year. Back then I also enabled the Yoast sitemap feature.
When I want to check my sitemap via the link given in General Yoast SEO it directs me to https://blog.lilleulven.com/sitemap_index.xml, however, from there I am directly redirected to https://blog.lilleulven.com (homepage) and not the XML page, I thought to find.
Reading someone else’s thread here I found that I should be able to find more information about my sitemap behind this link: https://blog.lilleulven.com/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/css/main-sitemap.xsl
I can access it from a non-logged-in browser, even in incognito mode, so access rights should not be an issue.
However, the page opening still does not contain any sitemap information on my blog. It has some general information about sitemaps and would tell me the last modified date of said sitemap, if only it could find something, which it does not. (See screenshot here) So I tried triggering the generation of a new sitemap file by using Settings -> Permanentlinks and saving without making any changes. However, that seems to change nothing at all.Could you have a look into what is going on here?
Thanks in advance.
