You will need to check your error log to see what the exact error is. Then we’ll be able to follow up and troubleshoot this for you.
It does not create any ERROR LOG files. What should we do now?
You’ll want to add this to your wp-config.php
file in the root directory of your site first –
define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );
Then you should see an error log under the wp-content
directory after you visit the sitemap again.
I’ve done what you suggested, but no file has been created.
@lahorimela sorry, looks like it might be a server instead of site issue so you’d have to check the error logs of your server (Apache/nginx).
Hey @lahorimela,
I didn’t hear back from you so I’ll close this thread for now, but feel free to let us know if you still need any help.
I have no problem with my other sites. Only this site has a problem with the sitemap.
Any help with that!!!
do you need my site details?
@lahorimela You’re experiencing a server issue so you need to check your error logs to see what the error is you’re running into. I’m afraid that I can’t help you further until I know what the error is you’re running into.
If your website isn’t self-hosted but hosted with a hosting provider, you can ask their technical support to check your error logs.
ok let me talk with them.
Ok, I have just Save the permalinks again and now it’s working fine.
