    Hi.

We apologize for the difficulties you are having with the plugin. All the Yoast sitemaps are in the correct format: https://www.quirovida.com.pe/sitemap_index.xml. They are XML files and not HTML as Google reports. We are not sure why Google says they are but they are wrong.

To resolve the issue we suggest four actions.

    1. Add the rules to exclude the sitemaps from Caching: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-cache/

    2. Delete your sitemaps from your Google Search Console. Doing so will not hurt the SEO of your site.

    3. Clear ALL your caching from your theme, plugin, server, CDN like CloudFlare or browser. If you are not sure how to clear caching from theme/plugin please speak to those authors. If you want to clear cache from the server, please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from a browser use this guide: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/.

    4. Resubmit the sitemaps using this guide: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/submit-sitemap-search-engines/

If Google still shows that the files are HTML, we suggest contacting Google for more information as to why they are reporting that. You may contact Google by making a post on their forums: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/webmasters.
