Sitemap index file error

    hi
    i had 1 sitemap file with 40000 link and 10mb size and now my sitemap plugin create 1 index sitemap. but i have a problem with it. my sitemap is in subfolder like :
    ***.com//xml-sitemap/sitemap-1.xml
    ***.com/xml-sitemap/sitemap-2.xml

    but in index sitemap shows just :
    ***.com/sitemap-1.xml
    ***.com/sitemap-2.xml

    i mean this plugin can not create index sitemap file for subfolder but it create sitemap-1 and sitemap-2 in the path i select.
    help me please

    If you read previous comments / support tickets you should know that

    a) I stopped supporting this plugin years ago
    b) If you have weird or non standard WP set-ups then that is your lookout, it may work it may not.
    c) The code is there for you to fix.
    d) It works for me and I use a standard set-up therefore unless you pay me good money and I don’t mean a tenner. I won’t be able to look at it.
    e) I suggest using a different plugin.
