I fixed the problem myself by doing this:

When I check the raw xml code via DevTools in the browser, there was an error message says that something wrong with the Image encoding.

I tried to disable the image adding function of sitemaps, the sitemap works. Then I change the title of the image that cause the problem, and the sitemaps works fine.

There may be some bugs about sitemap image text encoding, the easiest way is to disable the image sitemap function, or you can use devTools to figure out which image cause the problem.

    Hello @jcshawn,

    Thank you for contacting support.

This issue is indeed related to the encoding of characters into the sitemap data and it can happen when the language doesn’t have UTF-8 characters such is the case in this one.

Glad that you were able to find the culprit images causing this issue and make the necessary adjustments to get this to work.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
