# Sitemap Error when EDD Installed

* It seems WordPress SEO and Easy Digital Downloads are not playing well I’m not
getting any sitemaps. If I deactivate EDD it’s fine but when activated I get
this error.

* I’ve disabled php display errors so it shows the xml sitemaps but it’s still
an issue just only showing in site error logs now.

* Just to clarify, do you have the latest version of WordPress 5.8.2, Yoast SEO
17.8, and the latest version of EDD?
* Regarding this error where the XML sitemap doesn’t display as expected (/sitemap_index.
xml), often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme.
The fastest way to rule out any conflict, is to **deactivate all non-Yoast plugins
and switch to a standard theme** like [Twenty Twenty](https://wordpress.org/themes/twentytwenty/).
* Please test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not,
we recommend using the [Health Check & Troubleshooting](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/)
plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which **does not affect normal
visitors to your site**.
* If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a

* Could you check if this issue still occurs with a default WP theme (such as TwentyTwenty),
and only Yoast SEO and EDD as the plugins enabled? Could you provide us with
