Sitemap

Hi All,
I am new and having trouble with

“There was a problem writing your sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable..”

I know..I know…I’m supposed to fix this on my own and this forum tends to shun those with this problem.

I have another blog that does not have this problem. The only difference that I see is the problem blog has this statement just below the “save changes” on the Settings/permalinks tab,

“If your .htaccess file were writable, we could do this automatically, but it isn’t so these are the mod_rewrite rules you should have in your .htaccess file. Click in the field and press CTRL + a to select all.”

I do not know what I’ve done for this to be on the problem blog and not on the good blog. Can anybody tell me what this means?
