 * Last week I purchased a domain and got started with my first website (other than
   WP.com). I uploaded a WP theme that I purchased but could not get it to publish
   on my home page. My host support told me to launch my site through SiteBuilder.
   When I did this it posted my demo page and now I cannot get my WP theme to launch
   instead of the SiteBuilder page, which now shows as all my WP theme pages when
   I click the “view page” link.
 * I did find one place that said to delete the index.html file and create a new
   one, which I did. Now my site all displays blank white pages and no WP theme.
 * Any suggestions are appreciated. And remember, I’m new to the FTP files thing
   so I need careful instructions. 🙂

 * Hi
 * Since you haven’t created anything in WordPress yet and don’t want the Sitebuilder
   site and are really new to all this I think the easiest way is delete everything
   and start over. If you don’t know how to delete it all, ask your host to delete
   both the Sitebuilder site and the WordPress site.
 * Most hosts these days have a one click software installer. If they do that is
   the best way, as you are guaranteed the WordPress install will work correctly
   the first time. Then you can upload the WordPress theme again and start over.
   When done correctly there is no reason it won’t work the first time.
 * When you first install WordPress the default 2010 theme should be active. Then
   upload your theme and activate it. If it is not working correctly as soon as
   you activate it where you need to go for support is not your host but the theme
   author. If 2010 worked correctly and your theme doesn’t the issue is with your
   theme, not with WordPress or your webhosting.
 * Do not install Sitebuilder!
