• I’ve been using Elementor, Facetwp, and Relevanssi on a new site without problems for many months. Recently, site-wide search failed in a curious way. The search results page says no results were found, but the facetwp pagination shows several pages available. If you click on a page number link in the pagination, the results display. I tested switching to the vanilla WordPress results page and without facetwp, but had the same result/behavior. When I deactivate Relevanssi, the search results page using either the Elementor template or generic template works fine.

In other areas of the site that depend only on facetwp and custom post templates, searches were not affected and continue to work fine with Relevanssi. The admin search also continues to work fine.

I would much prefer to use Relevanssi, if possible.

I know Elementor templates don’t work with Relevanssi. In order for that to work, Elementor would have to support Relevanssi (they could; if you’d like that, please let Elementor know).

However, the vanilla WP results page should work. If you look at the Relevanssi parameters and the MySQL query Relevanssi generates, what do those look like (for instructions see this document)?

I ran into this, but tracked it back to FacetWP, not Relevanssi. They have a couple recent changelog updates noting they got a bit overzealous with query overriding. Downgraded to 3.5.9, working fine for now.
