Staging site so no damage done.

When choosing Gutenburg as page builder the setup wizard still tries to look for and install file/s to the Elementor folder (not installed in my case) causing crash and taking down the whole site.

Hi @justpuddingbasins , thanks for informing us.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We are still working on improving our Gutenberg support.

Would you mind giving us a screenshot of what you are seeing after it crashes? Once we take a look, we will work on a solution.

    Thanks.

Hi @justpuddingbasins , we have released an update on the plugin yesterday, which should solve the sitewide crash issue you faced last day.

And as per the last Fatal error notice you faced, it appears you tried to use a template to create a funnel, but you do not have Elementor installed on your site. This happens when you have Elementor selected as a preferred builder, but Elementor itself is not activated on the site.

We are working on creating a notice when such a situation is detected to avoid such errors. Hopefully, we will release an update with the fix tomorrow or the day after.

For now, here’s what you can do to avoid this error:
    1. Update the plugin
    2. Go to Dashboard > WP Funnels > Settings, and on the top right corner, click on Run Setup Wizard.
    3. Follow through the process, and the plugin should be configured properly (do not skip).
    4. Then, you may attempt to create a funnel from scratch or by importing a template, and it should work properly.

Let me know if you face any issues.

    Thanks.

Followed your instructions as soon as I click settings the same error as above is shown.

I will start again with a new staging copy and let you know what happens.

    Thanks

Hi @justpuddingbasins , I believe there is a chance you did not update the plugin before trying to run setup wizard again.

On the new staging, please download the latest version of the plugin (v2.0.1) and they try to use it and it should not trigger such an error.

Do let us know the outcome.

    Thanks.
