how did they hack it so we can know and others can prevent it?
All I know is that my son called me and told me that it was hacked. If you go to the site you will see what they put in it’s place, but I have no idea what they did.
When we try to login the password has been changed and when we try to get a new password it does not recognize our email.
They probably replaced your index file and it looks like you are running a recent version of WP…I would bet they got in through something other than WP.
Are you hosting this yourself or with a hosting company?
Are you running other scripts on the account?
Are you sure it was hacked? From looking at the page that’s there, it appears that the very first character in the file, the ‘<‘, is missing. Everything else looks normal. Is it possible that somebody in charge of the site made an editing error? Of course I have no idea if that is how the site looked before.
yes it was hacked. there was a huge hacked by site up there 5 mins ago, whoever is working on it though …
