Site URL problem – cannot get to comments

    so i installed the new 1.5 WP and my comments weren’t working, when i click on comment, it goes to:
    http://lovemeforme.org/?p=2#comments

    I know the index.php is suppose to be infront of the ? and I don’t know why it’s not working properly, so I went into my options and changed the blog address to http://lovemeforme.org/index.php

    now, the comments work, but it comes up as
    http://lovemeforme.org/index.php/?p=2#comments

    i know this isn’t the solution, it was just a test to see if my comments actually worked, now, how do i fix this without the extra backslash (it automatically puts one on)…

    ignore the disorganized pages, i haven’t finished it nearly.

    Are you using a theme and did you make modifications to it?

    i edited the main templates to my own, but i re-checked to see if i was missing anything, any codes etc. i compared them and i wasn’t missing anything.

    Hi there

    I’ve had the same problem after upgrading from 1.2.2 to 1.5. I attempted to follow Podz’ instructions closely but something is obviously messed. I posted about it here http://wordpress.org/support/topic.php?id=23962#post-139550 but I think the thread starter had a slightly different problem so I may have been a little OT.

    Nevertheless it would be great to find out a definitive answer; other people are having similar issues.

    hey, ya.. for the record, mine was a fresh install, i didn’t upgrade. i’ve been checking both threads and trying to look for the answer and still can’t find one. anyone?
