Support » Theme: Arcade Basic » Site title wont fit on mobile

  • Hi, when viewing the site on mobiles such as iPhone 4 & galaxy S4 the title does not re-size small enough and the text wraps onto a line below. Is there a way to ensure the title text always resizes so it fits on mobile devices?

  • Bump

I am having the same issue?

I got past this by changing the title font in the CSS. Bare in mind this will be overwritten when you update the theme.

There are also some options in the theme customisation screen where you can set the size and curve of the title text which might make it work.

I’m having same issue. Would like to hide the title arc completely perhaps when viewed on mobile.

I did this by the simple expedient of leaving the title field blank in the configuration. Boom, it’s gone. My title is layered onto the header graphic instead, and that of course scales fine.

Hey, if it’s stupid and it works, it ain’t stupid. 😉

Hi, I need help with this too. The mobile version of my site is pretty much non-existent. It’s meant to work on mobiles but it defaults to some weird looking blue and white site. My website is can anyone help?

nevermind, I figured out I had jetpack mobile optimisation on and when I turned it off the actual theme showed again – thanks. The blog post title fonts are still too large to fit on the mobile screen though. Not sure why.

Hi, although I haven’t chosen a theme I have done some preliminary work to get the right look for my header graphic. I downloaded a Victorian font (it’s a history-related blog) and overlaid it on my graphic. However, I was told that this Powerpoint slide cannot be used in WordPress since the lettering won’t scale for the different platforms. Question is, will I be able to import external fonts into WordPress?
