Are you using any sort of SEO plugin?
That often happens when there is a conflict between the theme title rules and a plugins title rules
(I’m assuming you mean the title appears twice in the top bar of the browser?)
Just looked at your site, you are using Yoast SEO plugin (good choice! that’s my favourite)

Yes the title appears twice in the browser tab. I am using Yoast SEO plugin. I could not find Yoast’s section for the title. I’ll look at your article to see if I can fix this myself, thank you!

The old title was:
<!–<title><?php wp_title(); ?> <?php bloginfo( ‘name’ ); ?></title>–>
So it was automatically pulling the name again apparently. Thx!
I am glad I found this post!! Went and read Rev. Voodoo’s page http://vudu.me/4f and then fixed the problem!
