[resolved] site title on mobile devices (10 posts)

    Down to the last of the details, on a mobile device the site title reappears, making it so that the business name appears twice, first in the logo and then in text directly under it. I am trying to remove the title and have tried

    #site-title {
        display: none;
    }

    as well as

    #content-right div #site-title h1 a {
        display: none;
    }

    Neither has any effect. Suggestions?

    Thank you!

    Hey CatWingz,

    I would be more than happy to look into this for you. Could you please provide the link to your website? :-)

    Looks like an update requirement on my part...however, in your stylesheet, do this:

    @media (max-width: 480px) {
        #site-title h1 {
          display: none;
        }
    }

    Sadly the @media style suggestion didn't work.

    Trey, if you are still around, the site is here.

    Thank you

    Hmmm... that really should be working. Try this one out because I just did this with your site via the browser's webmaster tools:

    @media (max-width: 767px) {
      #site-title h1 {
        display: none;
      }
    }

    Hey Catwingz,

    You summoned me, so here I am lol :-)

    Try this:

    #site-title a {
      display: none;
    }

    Important: Just copy and paste this code into the bottom of your Custom CSS or Child Theme style.css so that you won’t lose your changes once you update your theme in the future. A Child Theme is the safest and best way to go when doing all kinds of modifications.

    Hope this helps!

    Yeay! The 767px style took care of it.
