    Hi,

I am using the Genesis Prose Theme and I am attempting to disable the site title but have so far been unsuccessful in these attempts. I have uploaded an image file to take its place and have adjusted the size so that it should show the full image, however it is not showing up at all now.

The url for the site is: http://www.emilybartlettacupuncture.com/

I would really appreciate it if someone could assist with this matter.

    Thanks in advance.

  • I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors.

Hi, so I am still struggling with this after discussions with the theme vendors and because it seems to be a custom css problem, they say they cannot help me.

If I look at the source code, this seems to be the line that is causing the trouble:

    <div id=”header”><div class=”wrap”><div id=”title-area”></div><!– end #title-area –><div class=”ntitle”><span class=”greentext”>Emily Bartlett </span> <span class=”ontext”>Acupuncture</span></div>

Now, basically I just want to take this out completely but cannot find where to do this anywhere…

    Can anyone help me, please?

We do not support commercial themes as you paid for support when you bought the theme.

Hard to tell what you mean; plus you can probably get better support at their site.

That being said, seems like they’re refusing to help so . . . try adding this to your custom CSS or child-theme’s CSS, or if you have the latest version of JetPack, go to Appearance –> Edit CSS:

    .ntitle { display:none; }

    should fix the problem

    Hi Digilodger,

Thank you SOOO much! This worked like a charm. I was beginning to lose all hope. There are tons of people asking on the premium theme support forum this exact same question and they are either ignored or told it is beyond the scope of the support they offer so this is really, really appreciated.

    Thanks once again!

I;d be happy to look at existing threads about this issue – while we can support direct theme issues, we just cannot give instructions for every single customization people ask for.

I did look at this theme’s forum and there were not any threads about this issue that I could find.

The generated HTML above is not part of the initial theme – that is why the user was directed over here.

Does anyone know how to remove RSS feed and comments feed on the header of Prose Theme and move it to the side bar?
