Site Title and Tag and Footer Bar

    I am using Editor theme. I cannot get the Site Title and Tag to show up on the website. I have the text typed in Appearance>Customize>Theme, but it doesn’t show on the page.

    Also, can I get rid of or edit the white bar that shows up bottom of all pages, with the “Powered by wordpress…”.

    Try re-uploading the theme or change the name by going to your General settings page of your dashboard. If the Site Title is empty that may be the reason why it may not be showing.

    Also, can I get rid of or edit the white bar that shows up bottom of all pages, with the “Powered by wordpress…”.

    Yes, it can be done using a child theme. You would need to create a footer.php file with those changes and it will use that file instead. 🙂
