site-title and site-description overlapping

  • Ok so I have a new one for you guys. Now its late, and I’m getting tired so this may be a stupid question, but bare with me.

    In my header section, I have the site title and then the site description right below it. Now, on the home page, it looks great, but as soon as you veer off onto any of the other pages, the site description is right up underneath the site-title…overlapping it.

    take a look: http://edvaughnart.com/wordpress/

    I’ve looked at my page.php template files, made them all the same, with no difference, and all the styling is the same (even if I do try and add a margin or padding to the site title, nothing changes).

    So I’m a little at a loss as to why this is happening all of a sudden.

    the site title is a h1#site-title style on the front, and a div#site-title in the inner pages.
    the code for that is most likely in header.php.

    ii might work if you add something like this after the #site-title styles, into style.css of the child theme:
    h1#site-title, div#site-title { margin-top:33px; margin-bottom:33px; display:block; }
