  • Your title appears to be display twice.

    In this instance you could remove the %%sitetile%% and it won’t display twice, since the plugin automatically pulls the site title from the general settings as well

    I have the same problem. How do I stop the plugin from naming my pages for me?

    where do you find %%sitetitle%%?

    All I need is a space between the site title and the page title. JUST A SPACE. Please YOAST people! Just a space! how?

    check your function.php file with following code

    function twentytwelve_wp_title( $title, $sep ) {
    	global $paged, $page;
    	if ( is_feed() )
    		return $title;
    	// Add the site name.
    	$title .= get_bloginfo( 'name' );
    	// Add the site description for the home/front page.
    	$site_description = get_bloginfo( 'description', 'display' );
    	if ( $site_description && ( is_home() || is_front_page() ) )
    		$title = "$title $sep $site_description";
    	// Add a page number if necessary.
    	if ( $paged >= 2 || $page >= 2 )
    		$title = "$title $sep " . sprintf( __( 'Page %s', 'twentytwelve' ), max( $paged, $page ) );
    	return $title;

    No! For starters, you should never edit the Twenty Twelve theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. So you would need to create a child theme for your changes.

    I just given you example code to edit. I didnt mean in twentytwelve theme. You may used this function in your function file of your theme. I mean to check that.
