Hy guys, thanks for your amazing plugin first! I switched from Yoast without problems but I started notice same strange things when I run the site: command on the google Serp.

All my blog urls now show the category and not the entire url on Google:

    http://prntscr.com/o6uatp

How can I fix this? Thanks!!!

    Hello πŸ™‚

That’s the work of the breadcrumbs script. It increases accessibility, and it helps search engines understand the hierarchy of your website. For more info, see:
    https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/breadcrumb

You can disable it by going to “SEO Settings -> Schema.org Settings -> Structure.” You should find a toggle there.

However, I recommend leaving it enabled for the reasons mentioned above. I highly doubt this will have any negative impact on your search engine click-through-rates. But, if you wish to disable it, please note that it might take a few weeks before Google undoes this.

Moreover, if you visually display breadcrumbs on your site (which is highly recommended for accessibility), Google may still pick up on them without the help of our script.

I hope this clears that up! Cheers πŸ™‚

thanks so so much for the quick reply! Yes, I found the option but well you know…maybe I will leave it activated πŸ™‚
I can’t visually display breadcrumbs using Elementor because I must install Yoast to have them πŸ™
