Site Running Slow

Hi – I have installed Autoptimize after seeing all the great reviews. However, I am seeing a pretty significant increase in load speeds so I am clearly doing something wrong. I ran a speed report that criticised all the redirects associated with the CDN – our site has a lot of product images so I wonder if it is not a good candidate for a CDN approach. Also I see in the FAQ I should additionally use a cache plug in like WP Super Cache – do I need to run that as well as Autoptimize? Any pointers much appreciated
