 * Hello [@marc1989](https://wordpress.org/support/users/marc1989/) and thanks for
   reaching out to us!
 * When you say link your domain, do you mean to Wordfence Central? If so, head
   over to Wordfence Central, go to the **Connection Issues tab**. Clear out any
   sites that might be in here.
 * Now head over to your site and log in as an admin. Navigate to **Tools > Diagnostics
   > Other Tests > Clear all Wordfence Central connection data**. Clear the connection
   data and then from the Wordfence Dashboard, click on “Connect this site” in the
   Wordfence Central widget.
 * [https://www.wordfence.com/help/central/connect/#troubleshooting-connection-issues](https://www.wordfence.com/help/central/connect/#troubleshooting-connection-issues)
   also has some troubleshooting steps you could follow.
 * Let me know if this helps!
 * Thanks!

 * Thanks WFAdam for your quick response
 * Yes I meant Wordfence central
 * It still does not link althouth I cleared all connection data
 * I wonder if it is because I have to use a redirection from planunique.com to
   [https://planunque.com:4447/](https://planunque.com:4447/) (hosted on a different
   machine)???? an if so, how coud I resolve this?
 * Regards

 * Hello again [@marc1989](https://wordpress.org/support/users/marc1989/)
 * It looks like your REST API is blocked for users that aren’t logged in. I just
   did some tests on my end with the URL you provided.
 * _Note: Wordfence Central uses the WordPress REST API to communicate with the
   plugin. If you’ve disabled the REST API or set it to require authentication,
   you’ll need to enable it before connecting your site to Central._
 * Not sure if it’s something you have set on your side or a plugin that is causing
   it, but if you enable the REST API, it will resolve your issue.
 * Let me know what you find!
 * Thanks!

 * Hello
 * My REST API si now fixed according to Health Check plugin. I am stil not able
   to to connect to Wordfence Central. It gives me the following error
    Site redirected
   to a different domain: [https://planunique.com:4447/wordpress/collaboration](https://planunique.com:4447/wordpress/collaboration)
 * Any other cue

 * I am guessing that the port redirect is causing the issue as you said. Did you
   need Wordfence Central for any reason?
 * If you want a premium licence you don’t need to have Wordfence Central.
 * Let me know if this helps!
 * Thanks!

 * I thought I could get more protection being connected to Wordfence Central. If
   it is not the case, I will proceed as you suggested with remaining not connected

   Thanks

 * Wordfence Central makes it easier if you are managing multiple sites. It makes
   it easier to apply settings to all of your sites rather than just one at a time.
 * You have the same amount of protection without it though.
 * Let me know if you have any other questions!
 * Also, if you’re a **Premium Wordfence Customer**, I recommend opening a support
   ticket at [https://support.wordfence.com](https://support.wordfence.com) in the
   future. They will be able to assist you faster and more efficiently.
 * Thanks again for your support!
