Site Redirect to Subdirectory Fix (2 posts)

I recently transferred hosting to a new web host. The initial install was a WordPress script straight to the domain. Shortly after, I installed WordPress again into a new subdirectory /wp, a place to mess around and test things. However, the new install somehow created an immediate redirect, so that the domain points to the subdirectory /wp. I deleted the subdirectory, but this did not fix the problem, instead acting as if the website was broken.

Please help me find the problem.

  2. It's probably in either your .htaccess file or your index file. Look in there.
