I want to use WP HTTP Compression plugin, so followed instructions and checked my blog’s performance. It has reported 3 weak points :
# Your server’s network connection seems slow. It took 4.54 seconds for the page to download.
# Your blog application doesn’t support gzip compression.
# Your feed server’s network connection seems slow. It took 1.50 seconds for the feed to download.
I suppose plugin couldn’t work if gzip is not supported so I would like to find solution : how to get gzip compression supported ?
Does this mean that WordPress application by itself doesn’t support gzip compression ?
Or it has something to do with blog’s theme ?
How could I manage to get gzip compression supported ?
Any help will be much appreciated
