    Could someone please help me out with my site.

    The site has been working fine but all over a sudden, this week I went to show someone my portfolio and all i was presented with is a blank page: http://www.andrewbaguma.com I can log in to my admin area but don’t know what else i can do.

    I haven’t updated anything and the theme I have been using is Workality Lite theme.

    Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

    many thanks

    Andy

  • I should also add this is what i have in my wordpress news panel:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘http’ (T_STRING) in /home/dr3wb/domains/drewbdesigns.com/public_html/wp-includes/SimplePie/Sanitize.php on line 403

    Try deactivating plugins and see if site shows up, then activate them back one by one and see if it’s one of them that causes the problem.

    @andywar65
    Thanks for getting back to me. I tried that and still nothing unfortunately.

    In my copy of the php file, line 403 looks like this:

    $ret .= '</head><body>' . $html . '</body></html>';

    It looks like a script was added to the line. Remove everything in between including <script> and </script>

    With a-little patience I found the reason!

    After deleting the above code “Which didn’t make sense” I was able to see the message from wordpress asking to run the latest security updates.

    So all in all people, I would recommend for anyone in a similar position to run the latest security updates.

    Thanks

    Thanks for your help. I just managed to get it working.

    Happy to hear from you. Just for the record: which version of WP were you running?

    Update, update, update

    Weirdly it was showing up as 4.2.2, but i missed the security message so I’m making sure all templates are updated across other sites.

    From now on I’ll keep checking for updates! 🙂
