 * I am trying to figure out why my site displays the This is Somewhat Embarrassing
   message.
 * Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 * What do you have set for home page in Settings -> Reading?
 * Also do you any posts at all? If not create one and see if it shows up.

 * Thanks, I checked and I had a static page set but had not selected one. Once 
   I chose one, the site worked properly! Thank you for your help!
