Site name change – from .com to .org

    I originally setup the site with WordPress as a .com. However, we have decided to apply for non-profit status. The site is hosted with GoDaddy. I successfully changed the hosting to .org.

    I can setup a 301 redirect for the .com to the .org but when I do, I can no longer login to the wp-admin. If I change the site name in the general settings, will that resolve this?
