I just pointed my WP /wordpress/ subdirectory install to the root, following these instructions:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory#Using_a_pre-existing_subdirectory_install

The URL is http://caspca.org. The site is there, and I can log into the control panel, but the theme/css is clearly not displaying. Can anyone tell me why?

    Thanks.

I managed to get the site switched over to the root, but not before I uploaded all of the WP files/directories to the root, then changed the settings accordingly, which the above instructions doesn't say a word about. However, the site is still dependent on files in the /wordpress/ subdirectory (if I remove my theme from /wordpress/, I have a blank homepage on the root domain). Gotta be some things still pointing to /wordpress/ but I don't know what. If you do, I'd like to know. Thanks.

Your site looks fine to me. But if you still having the issue. Go to settings -> general and check if the site url and wordpress url are http://caspca.org not http://caspca.org/wordpress/
