# Site Missing after Updates

 * Hello! Just updated all plugins and the latest version of WordPress. Once I updated
   the latest version of WordPress, the screen went blank (white). Our blog is now
   just a white screen as well. Tried logging into our site’s admin page to do some
   fixing but it’s white, too! Everything is blank. Trying not to freak out 🙂

 * Same happened for me on one of my sites. Had to restore backup for the time being.

 * Okay, I figured it out! I went to Bluehost and some of my core files had been
   changed. I clicked “restore core files” and the site is back!

 * Of course core file were changed. That’s what updates do.
 * Now you are running WordPress 4.5.3. Give it a few days and try to upgrade. A
   blank white page is sign of a php error, maybe one of your plugins. Keep in mind,
   hundred of thousands have upgraded and most (thank goodness!) had no problem.
 * Next time you have a white page look at the source code. Sometimes what appears
   blank is not.
