• Upon testing our site with WPTouch 3.1.8 (using the free theme) we noticed that the menu always drops behind the company logo. We have tried using different menus to no avail. Is this something that can be fixed with code? We would likely purchase the Pro version if we knew that this wouldn’t be an issue.

  • If you’ll share the url where you’re seeing this issue, we’ll be happy to take look.

In the meantime, you can verify that your installation is free of any Javascript conflicts that may be contributing to the issue.
To isolate which plugin(s) may be contributing to the trouble, deactivate all except WPtouch from within the WordPress Plugins area, clear your browser cache and local data then test.

If WPtouch functions well, you may then enable the rest of your plugins one at a time, repeating the process, until you can identify which is/are causing the problem.

You may choose to replace the conflicting plugin with another or upgrade to WPtouch Pro which has a feature that will allow you to disable the conflicting plugin within your mobile theme but leave your desktop theme intact.

    Thanks for responding.

We just tried disabling plugins and found that Gantry 4.1.1 is the conflicting culprit. Once we disabled Gantry, the menu works fine.

Since our entire site is built around Gantry, will we still be able to disable Gantry on the pro version of WPTouch and have things work on the mobile site?

    Thanks

Yes, WPtouch Pro has features that allow you to attempt to deactivate plugins only from the mobile theme. Be aware that not every plugin responds to these methods but most do.
