My website is www.megrontech.co.uk, google says “This site may be hacked”.

Last week i have updated to latest version of wordpress.

I have seen some spam code in index.php file. Then i replaced with old index.php file but still facing issue as site may be hacked.

Still same index.php is generated with some spam coding.

Anyone can assist us?

Please remain calm and carefully follow this guide.

When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

I have deleted all files in my server and then uploaded with good old backup. But in google search results still showing as “This site may be hacked”.

I have updated all the passwords.

Submitted request to review but still showing alert as site may be hacked.

I visited your site using Chrome browser on PC with no issues. I see the hack warning on a Google site search, but I’m quite sure it may take a little time for Google to clear that up. Your issue at this point is surely with Google.

@keith and also wordpress volunteers suggest me how to find and delete or resolve hacked content in my site.

@tamilvananmt Yes, I’m aware that you followed the previous advice. I’m just suggesting that “this site may be hacked” that I see in Google search, is a Google issue and won’t be removed until they crawl / review your site 🙁

Hope they get straightened out for you quickly!

Also can you suggest me how to prevent wordpress website from hackers etc?

@tamilvananmt Follow the advice of @jan on implementing security measures, install a highly rated security plugin (just search the plugin directory for “security”) and keep WordPress, themes, and plugins updated.

There is no page like this in our website.

If you check our site links, it was fixed cached on april 11 2016

Still facing same issue can anyone help us? I tried all possible things. there is no spam code or malicious file in wordpress files.
