Hi all I have a site http://wordpress.burgeriron.com for testing before i go live. On Windows 7 it looks as expected in IE, Chrome & Firefox. On my Mac the 3D slider covers the test of the page in both Safari and Firefox. When i ran it thru a validator site, it found no errors. Any ideas?

You are going to be fighting a battle that you really dont want to tackel lol. Anyways, from my experience there is little difference if any. I dont even bother with styles for operating systems. However Mac tends to render -webkit a bit differently sometimes. You will see things like, buttons and inputs styles a bit different.

Using a good CSS reset takes care of this, but must be put in place before design and development take place. Installing a reset no will most likely make the issue worse.

Its covering the text on IE (a little bit), Chrome (completely) on my windows 8 machine. So the issue is bigger than safari/mac

The typcial CSS reset may work http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/css/reset/ but that’s also a premium theme; check with the theme author: http://themeforest.net/user/TrueThemes/portfolio?ref=TrueThemes
