No problem @tamar! Do let me know after you check.
I would also advise on reaching out to Contact Form 7 regarding the page refresh, as per this guide.

Sorry, when I troubleshoot something that’s been driving me bonkers, it’s always mentally taxing so I try to do it when I can think and figure out what the issue might be. That and Cloudflare’s cache is very aggressive so my changes don’t appear to stick for me, necessitating purges for every little click I make. That includes when it runs in troubleshooting mode, making troubleshooting moot at some points and it’s hard to tell what’s what.
I’ve disabled Site Kit. I also posted in the CF7 group but didn’t get much traction there so I’ve bumped a few times for Takayuki to take a closer look at; I’m hoping the addition of the URL will get some movement.
Let me know if anything seems to come to mind here for you and I can purge cache as well if you need.
Appreciate the update @tamar. Indeed I can imagine it is frustrating. I performed some checks and I also checked this with the team and it doesn’t seem to be Site Kit related. I do hope the Contact Form 7 team will be able to assist you with this. I’ll keep an eye on your topic there and should you wish to ask about anything Site Kit related with Contact Form 7, just ask. Thank you.

It’s strange because when I had Site Kit disabled and everything else enabled beforehand, that was when the refresh didn’t occur. Maybe you’re still seeing a cached version of the site; I just purged it again.
Indeed this is a strange one. While I don’t suspect this is Site Kit related, I did propose some checks on your site, which I can then try to review on my side.
- Letting me know when you have Site Kit deactivated so I can review your CF7 form.
- Temporarily deceiving the Enhanced Conversion tracking setting within Site Kit, and checking once more does the same occur.
If you can perform both these checks, and let me know when each is actioned so I can also check, it may help determine more.

Cache purged (hopefully) and Site Kit disabled. Let me know what you see.
Thanks for the quick response. I checked that and the page doesn’t refresh on this occasion. Next can you enable Site Kit once more, but keep the Enhanced Conversion tracking setting toggled off?

Done. My caching is still super aggressive (it’s telling me to update plugins I updated before I purged the last time) so I’m not sure if it will be 100% definitive but please go for it.
Thanks for the update @tamar. Indeed the page does refresh at present with Site Kit active. For the next check, what you can do is record what you see when following the steps previously advised when using the Health Check and Troubleshooting plugin. I can then share this with the team.

What exactly are you looking to see in this video? I’m not sure I’m reproducing what you are expecting with Troubleshooting enabled.
Edit: I created this – is this what you wanted?

Appreciate you sharing the recording. Indeed what you shared is on track, as it demonstrates that the form submission without Site Kit active. Using the same steps, can you “Enable” Site Kit and Contact Formn 7 before submitting the form once more? In the top right of this screen, you’ll see where you can enable both plugins (which in troubleshooting mode). After doing so, can you share if the form submits as expected?

Got it – I did that but it’s not really helpful. https://hi.switchy.io/dgu1
I see a 0 instead of having that refresh option.
