Site kit by Google is slowing wordpress very much
-
Google page speed insights slowed my score from 100 to 80 or 63 when using site kit (and ad sense).
Can i provide link to my page to your mail to diagnose the problem? Maybe i have too many ads and i don’t know how to set it. For example one ad is repeated 3 times in a row.
And one problem with debug

Thanks for reaching out @matrixpoland. If you’re using AdSense and Google Analytics, through Site Kit or not, there will always be a slight tradeoff when it comes to performance as there will be networks requests made from your site to these services, along with additional scripts being executed. There are also many factors that impact network requests. We put together a guide on the Site Kit website that explains more in detail performance related aspects. Feel free to review that for further information:

Thanks for sharing this. I went ahead and create da GitHub issue so we can address this deprecation notice (See #9977). If you can share your Site Health information it would be very helpful as we investigate this further. Note that this shouldn’t impact any Site Kit functionality, but if you find otherwise, do let me know.
I send you report.

I don’t see here topic regarding tuning performance?
Can you please analyze my google speed insights to tell me where I have a problem and if there is anything I can do about it? Only that I would prefer to send a link to the page by email (if you have it). Or you know it already because I sent a report and the status of the site.
And regarding these ads, is it normal that the same ad in the middle of the text can be displayed 3-4 times every few lines of text? People complain that the page is unreadable.
I have one more error but in directadmin:
[Mon Jan 06 12:38:27.223840 2025] [fcgid:warn] pid 27800:tid 139950200698624Broken pipe: [client ] mod_fcgid: ap_pass_brigade failed in handle_request_ipc function, referer: wp-admin/admin.php?page=googlesitekit-dashboard
And ad sense don’t see ads.txt but in google site kit it is enabled and visible. How to diagnose this? Where site kit add this file?
Thanks for the update @matrixpoland. See below replies to your comments:

I don’t see here topic regarding tuning performance? The guide referenced provides suggestions on how to compare performance, with and without Site Kit (for example, by activating Google Analytics and AdSense manually and not using Site Kit).

Unfortunately we’re limited to Site Kit queries here in the support forums. I did check your site and I can confirm a valid Site Kit snippet placement for Google Analytics and AdSense, without modification. I also checked your site using the tagassistant.google.com service and all is working as intended.
And regarding these ads, is it normal that the same ad in the middle of the text can be displayed 3-4 times every few lines of text? People complain that the page is unreadable.
When you’re using Auto ads, which is active on your site, enabled via the snippet placed via Site Kit, it’s up to the AdSense algorithms what ads are placed and the frequency of these ads. I wish I had more information on how this works, however, this is more an AdSense specific question. The product experts over at the AdSense Help Center should be able to assist with this. From my experience it’s not uncommon for the same ads to appear multiple times on a page, possibly in different formats.
I have one more error but in directadmin:
From the checks I’ve been performing on this, I suspect this is more hosting platform related. If you’re not finding any loss of functionality, I believe these can be disregarded. I will however, discuss them with the team. Thanks for passing this on.
And ad sense don’t see ads.txt but in google site kit it is enabled and visible. How to diagnose this? Where site kit add this file?
Site Kit doesn’t add this file for users, however, there is a plugin that can be used for this, ads.txt manager. Note that it can take some time for the AdSense platform to detect and confirm a valid ads.txt file. I checked your site and I don’t see any placed at present. Note also that there is an open GitHub issue with regards ads.txt integration within Site Kit:
https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/7049Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you!
Very strange that everything works if there is no ads.txt file
“Site Kit doesn’t add this file for users”
So what is this option about?
“Let Site Kit place AdSense code on your site”
Does this option replace ads.txt? Does it make something worse in ad sense? Because they do require this file. Of course I see that in github there is a proposal to add the option to add ads.txt from site kit but from 2023. Nothing is moving in this matter? Very stupid that you have to have so many plugins enabled, as if you could have everything in one for specific google problem.

I would like to ask for information here if you find out anything.

“Site Kit doesn’t add this file for users”Ads.txt isn’t a requirement for ads to be served. It’s just a recommendation.
So what is this option about?
“Let Site Kit place AdSense code on your site”
This related to the AdSense code so that ads can be served. It’s an Auto ads code snippet. It’s not related to any ads.txt file.

Ads.txt differs to the AdSense code required before ads can be served on your site. It’s ideal to have both, however, ads can be served without an ads.txt file.
I also agree with your sentiment that it’s not ideal to have many plugins active. An ads.txt plugin isn’t required, as the AdSense platform do advise on placing this file manually. That’s also the reason why we created a GitHub issue, for feedback such as your own. Fingers cross we can have some integration soon!
