Site Kit – Analytics Gathering Data Analytics data is not yet available

    Hi,

    I had installed Site Kit a few weeks ago and everything was working fine but now on my panel all I see is this:

    Analytics Gathering Data
    Analytics data is not yet available, please check back later.

    It’s been a few days. I tried re-installing the plugin but nothing seems to help.

    @allielopezcuadra Thanks for reporting. Can you inform me of your site URL and whether you had Site Kit setup previously on that site?

    If you did have Analytics setup previously check whether there are reports from your Analytics dashboard directly at https://analytics.google.com.

    @jamesosborne Yes, I had installed it a few weeks ago. When the 13.1.1 update came out I received 3 notices from WordPress about the plugin giving technical issues so I had to deactivate it.

    When I reactivated it…I started seeing that message about Analytics Gathering Data.

    My url is: https://www.stmarkboston.org

    And no currently on my dashboard I don’t see any tracking info.

    @allielopezcuadra It looks like you’re using a maintenance mode plugin. When using this maintenance mode plugin the Analytics snippet is not present on your site, which is why you’re encountering this status.

    To start collecting data you’ll need to disable the maintenance mode plugin (which may not be suitable) or check whether it supports Analytics integration. If so you can add your Analytics tracking code using that method (as opposed to adding the Analytics snippet via the Site Kit module).

    @jamesosborne We’ve had the maintenance mode on for a while and site kit seemed to be working. But we are going to disable the maintenance mode tomorrow and go live. Thank you!

    @allielopezcuadra If you want to confirm the plugin you are using I can test it myself, there may be customization options. And best of luck going live, I can keep this support topic open and we can check back next week to ensure it’s working as expected.
