 * Nice plugin, but with one reservation.
Every time I login to WPadmin, there’s
a google sitekit presence on the admin bar, that frankly shows a blank screen
and is pretty pointless. As a request for future incarnations of this plugin,
could there be a way to either accept or deny via a toggle button, the google
sitekit presence on the admin bar, and prevent having to use adminimise to remove
   it?

 * [@classies](https://wordpress.org/support/users/classies/) Thanks for the feedback,
along with suggestion for future releases. In relation to the blank screen you
are encountering you may have been encountering the same problem as reported
   in [this](https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/521) GitHub issue. We
have just updated the plugin with a fix for this (v1.1.4).
 * Can you update the plugin and check if the same issue occurs?
 * If you are already using the latest version of the plugin and the issue remains
you can you share your URL and I can see if I notice anything from my side which
   may be impacting reporting?

 * Yes, it’s still there as I updated to the latest version this morning.
    Usually
when a plugin has an item in the admin bar that has more info (ex Yoast) it just
shows a menu that can be clicked on for more info if needed. Sitekit however
slightly overdoes this as everything is already available from the internal admin
with no need for a full width dropdown which may, or may not, be working. Please
consider the option to remove this from the admin bar for future releases, which
will save having to use another plugin to remove it.

When you mentioned it’s still there are you referring to no stats being recorded
on the admin bar? Let me know if so and we can troubleshoot further. If it is
the case whereby no stats are being displayed please check from a browser incognito
window and also ensure stats appear in the regular admin panel dashboard.
 * I have added your suggestion for admin bar as a [feature request](https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/new/choose)
at the plubins website. You can keep track of it there, thanks for the feedback.

 * Ok, so I left it for awhile and the stats in the admin bar started working.

This method is far from perfect as it takes several moments to load up the stats,
and when they do, those stats can be found in the back end admin where they load
up almost immediately, and theres no loss of real estate on the front page. Whereas
some people might like it, I’d bet that many more won’t like it and would prefer
a way to get google sitekit off the front page admin bar.

 * [@classies](https://wordpress.org/support/users/classies/) Thanks for the update,
good to know it’s loading for you. As Site Kit is pulling the live data from
your Google account there can be a slight delay.
 * You can keep track of the issue I’ve created for you on the plugins GitHub [here](https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/990).
Thanks again for the suggestion, all feedback very welcome.
