• For a few months now, I’ve been randomly getting blank pages on my site.

Meaning, I’ll edit or publish a new post, and I’ll be brought to a blank page. If I hit refresh the post will get published or updated.

Also, sometimes when hopping around the site I’ll get a blank page. There is no rhyme or reason to it, it just happens randomly.

I’ve tried disabling all of my plugins, but that wasn’t a help, so I have a few of them back up and running.

Anybody ever dealt with this before and know of a fix?

is where you purchased your theme from. I would tell them the issue you are having and they may have information/suggestions.

Your theme does effect the admin.

You could try using a wordpress theme like 2014, 2013 and see if the problem persists, but I’m guessing you want to stick with the theme you bought.

Support is included in your purchase, so hopefully they can help you out!

    Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion! I just submitted on their board. Hopefully that will help me out.

Well, it wasn’t the theme. I went to the default WordPress themes then switched to Genesis…still having the problem.

I cleaned and repaired the database, still getting the blank pages. My hosting provider is not helping at all so that’s wonderful.

This is what my hosting provider said:

Generally a blank white page when you expect content is a PHP error. As we offer production servers and not development servers we have “display_errors” off by default which is why you would get a blank white page instead of an error message.

You can turn on “display_errors” by adding the following line to a file called “.htaccess” in the same folder as the script having issues:
    php_value display_errors on

If the file “.htaccess” does not exist, you are welcome to create one for this purpose.

For further details on changing PHP Environment Variables please see this knowledebase article:

    That doesn’t offer any answers.

Did you definitely disable *all* your plugins and then it still happened? I’ve had this issue a few times and every time I’ve been able to fix it by disabling plugins, then switching them on one at a time and replaying the exact steps which happened to create the issue in the first place over and over each time until I find which plugin is causing an issue…

You say it happens randomly but there simply *has* to be some common factor your missing. I would try writing down exactly which page you were on and what you did each and every time it happens. See if there’s any similarities 🙂

Hello, I am using the wordpress 3.9.2. I have been trying to solve blank page issue since a week. Please help me out about this issue.

    Thanks in advance.

Is this on WordPress.org or are you hosting it yourself? Because if you have ftp access, try changing the name of the plugins folder to ‘plugins-temp’ then login to the admin area. You should then be able to try switching on the plugins one at a time, testing after each one to see if it causes the same error 🙂
