Site is running slow, have a question.

    Hey guys, I recently upgraded to WP 2.5 and have done a lot of work with my blog, as well as installing a vbulletin forum tied to it.

    My question is, my site runs fine sometimes, slow other times, and occasionally will not load at all. There doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason. The host says they can’t find a culprit, but told me to check my scripts.

    If it was a script would it affect my WP as well as vbulletin because i have the problem on both, as well as the admin areas for both. At that point, is the host definitely the problem, or could it still be something with my code, or WP plugins?

    For starters, if no-one replied, its because they DONT know. And they dont know because its not OUR site — its yours.

    If its slow, its slow. Talk to your host – ask them if they see any slow queries.. Disable some plugins..

    But dont bump a fricken post like that after 2 hours. C’mon.

    Maybe your host throttles your bandwidth because youre impatient with them. hmm.

    LOL.

    Seriously, you may just have an overloaded shared server. Normal for cheapo hosting. Install WP-Super-Cache and get it working. Usually speeds up a WordPress site by leaps and bounds.
