Support » Fixing WordPress » Site homepage permanently cached?

  • I think this might be a server issue, but thought i’d post here and see if anyone has any insight.

I just migrated to dreamhost ps today, and without making any site changes, my homepage never updates. i mean never.

i can see new posts in my feeds, new comments on single posts, but not on the home page. i changed the theme, and all pages, except home, changed. i deleted index.html and ran index.php alone…and even removed all cache files, deactivated and deleted wp-super-cache.

    still no luck.

  • Hi,

Check that you have selected latest post at top and cleared cache of the browser..

You can use this plugin for cache:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-cache/

Provide your blog URL so that check and receive exact comment on your concern…

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

Shane, thanks for the follow up.

wp-cache is really not robust enough for my needs. at this point, i prefer no caching at all, since i’m having a problem with my homepage being permanently cached at this time.

Browser is clear, but that’s a common mistake, thanks for pointing it out.

all cache has been deleted, supercache was deleted according to their instructions…including mods to .htaccess and wp-config

    site is http://www.tenthamendmentcenter.com

    any other thoughts?
