[ Moderator note: Please refrain from using all caps, it’s considered rude. ]

Here’s what my site looks like now:

Before, the navigation text ran horizontal across the header of the page and was bold… and looked much nicer, not underlined, etc… and there was a widget that scrolled pictures across the top, under the nav. text and the photo that is currently appearing on the page sat a bit into the text with the text along the right and underneath of it.

Also, my videos that now appear below, use to run along the right side of the page. Not sure what happened. I didn’t change anything and visited my page a couple of days ago and it was like that.

Any help would be appreciated. I don’t even know where to begin to figure out how this happened… this may be a silly question, but is it possible I have been hacked? I’ve had this site for more than a year and never had this issue before.

It looks like the result of wrongly editing the theme templates. You may reinstall your theme and see if it fixes the problem. If not please seek support at, the support page of the theme vendor.

As you use a commercial/ paid theme, we do not have access to it. Moreover the price of the theme that you paid also includes support.

I scanned your site at Sucuri and it came up clean.

On Firefox and IE (assuming), it looks fine and the header scrolling widget (with your pictures) is there. The top nav is the same though as in Chrome.

I’m not sure what the problem is with Chrome not displaying the header scrolling widget. I agree with Krishna that you contact the theme developer and have them look at your site.

    Cheers, Whit

    Thanks for the help!

Krishna, if I reinstall my theme, will it delete all of the tweaks I have made to my theme, like adding the widgets, photos, etc. ?

You may lose customizations, if you edited the original theme templates. If you have used a child theme, you will not lose anything. Also, you will not lose your pictures, posts, etc. if you replace a fresh copy of the theme.

In any case, make a backup of your site before making such changes so that you can always restore your site, if anything goes wrong.

Thanks to the both of you for the help!

Glad to know that you could fix the problem.
