Hi David,
Unfortunately, there isn’t much you can do from the front-end of your website. The problem likely arises from an incompatible plugin or theme.
You will need to access your file directories on your server; where you installed WordPress.
Browse to the “wp-content” directory; and rename the “plugins” directory to something like “plugins-disabled”.
This will deactivate all of your plugins.
Now, see if you can login.
(You’ll need to rename that folder back to “plugins” at some point.. but let’s leave it as “plugins-disabled” for now).
Do you have FTP access? If so, go to your wp-content folder > themes and disable your theme by hitting F2 and putting an X in front of its name. That should reset the theme to default and it should come up for you. If that doesn’t work, try disabling the installed plugins in the plugins folder by renaming it.

Thank you CyberCore 🙂 You’ve gone out of your way to help me. Mysteriously the site went live again last night WTF! Got a call with techie today who knows how it was all set up. so i am going to see who i can access these damn files so I can help myself in the future.
